This Friday the 19th we will be releasing Angel Gonzalez's debut silkscreen print, titled "Da Street Corner". This print measures 18x24 inches, one color metallic gold and the screens where shot in the sun using a hand cut rubylith, hand cut by Angel which took him 25 hours, talk about HECHO CON GANAS. Angel is an artist who now operates out of Los Angeles but he originates from Washington Heights, Manhattan NYC. Angel draws on his experience of growing up in NYC during the early years of hip hop (early 80's) and the evolution of what we now call classic hip hop (Tribe Called Quest, Eric B and Rakim, Gangstarr, etc). Although Angel never participated in Graffiti, his style is strongly influenced by late 70's early 80's New York graffiti mixed with some modern day influence from his favorite artist Daim and many others. This print goes out to preserving the 4 elements of hip hop. This print is an edition of 26 for 55USD.
